I never wanted second best. I never wanted more than this; and when I said I changed my mind, the summer simply came and went. And now I'm taking all my time trying to sort my truths and lies, trying to find out who I am. They say it happens all the time.

We're the kids with hopeless hearts gazing up under a million stars, but we don’t see the light shining on who we are. When we're trying to figure us out we look too damn far.

I never thought it through before. Didn't want to open that door. Didn't want to face myself. I knew that I would just want more. And even if we feel on top, the time has come for us to stop. Even if we rise again, it hurts to see this summer end.
